The Center had a client base of 120 students representing 8 public school systems, as well as private and home schools. A large percentage of the students had been diagnosed with ADHD and learning disabilities. Duties of the Center Director included: meeting with prospective clients to assess testing needs; conducting diagnostic assessments; meeting with parents to explain test results and appropriate instructional program; meeting with teachers to discuss current students progress; serving as a resource to parents with questions about IEPs, ADHD, and learning disabilities; attending IEP meetings; counseling parents with concerns about retention; ensuring compliance with corporate policies; staff selection and training; meeting revenue goals through sales of programs; client satisfaction; public relations. The Stockbridge center was nominated for Outstanding New Center in 1998.
1992-1995 Rich's Atlanta, GA Sales Manager Promoted from sales associate to senior sales manager. Duties included: managing a staff of 6 full time and 5 part time sales associates; visual merchandising; conducting store wide training; functioning as the store manager on duty; meeting sales goals. Awarded Sales manager of the month for 4 months.
1982-1989 Georgia State University Atlanta, GA Part time Instructor Taught a variety of Psychology courses to undergraduate students, including nursing students enrolled at Ga Baptist School of Nursing. Courses included Introductory Psychology, Foundations of Psychology (for health professionals) and Psychology of Work(for Psychology and Management majors). Also assisted teaching a course in Research Methods in Experimental Psychology. Duties included: selecting text books; securing guest speakers; selecting instructional materials to meet needs of specific class population; test construction and grading; student conferences; conducting experiments and evaluating research papers in accordance with the APA Publication manual. Consistently received average student evaluations of 4.5 on a 5.0 scale.

New Orleans, LA 1982 "How to recognize and manage stress". Lecture presented at the Annual Atlanta Area Credit Seminar of the Robert Morris Associates. 1983 Needs Assessment for the Atlanta Southside Community Health Center.
